Narrative
Edgar was born at 59 New North road Hackney, later 13 East Bank Hackney. He emigrated to the US 1n 1916 to 6 Ashland Place, Brooklyn, NY. Rent $50 a month. He was a Salvation Army Sergeant, living with his "partner" George Biddell.
He returned to England some time later for a visit, then sailed Jan 23 1924 on the Aqitania, Southampton to New York, destination 412 bales Ave Kansas, later to Omaha.
He later moved to Whiting, Monona, Iowa where he retired and died.
