Narrative
By 1861 living out aged 18yrs at 6 Bryanston Square, Marylebone, as a Footman among 7 servants to an Edward V Mills, Widowed, a Banker. By 1871 James is a Butler, 49 Portland Place, Marylebone, saying he was born in Paddington. He has married Louisa (as census but there is no record I can find other than that I have listed, the spouse is missing from the index, so the date is unconfirmed as yet). By 1881, James and Louisa are both servants in Lindfield Place, Lindfield, Sussex. James is the Butler, and Louisa is the Housekeeper. By 1891 they have moved to Horton, Wimbourne, Dorset and are the Innkeepers at the Horton Inn. No children found.
