When Charles died he left around £2million (in todays money) to Ann. When Ann died her will was worth over £3million (in todays money). This was at first amassed from Chapel donations, and fees for preaching services. Later, Ann invested wisely, and had a not insignificant amount of her own money from her own Russell family.
