Fairly large conjecture here....
Suspect she was Edith G platford, Norfolk. Nothing else on 1881/91 census. Ediths' mother (Harriet Randell?) was widowed by 1881, and living with her brother in law Walter Platford in Great Yarmouth, other Platfords from Gorlestone present together with other extended family. The only trace in 1891 is Edith G Platford, still living with Walter Platford in Great Yarmouth, but listed as his Daughter now. Other "siblings" are domestic servants, so it ties in but not proven correct.
1901 census, Emma G Platford from Mutford, Gorlestone in Ted, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. Mutford spans the boundaries of the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk. Listed as a Parlour maid, visiting in Ruislip, Uxbridge, Middlesex.
